Bam Adebayo's 19-foot buzzer-beater capped his 30-point, 13-rebound performance, leading the Miami Heat to a 105-103 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama sat out due to an undisclosed illness.
In his first game since being named in a federal investigation, Heat guard Terry Rozier scored 19 points. Nikola Jovic and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 14 and 10 points, respectively, for Miami.
Keldon Johnson led the Spurs with 19 points, while Devin Vassell had 18. Wembanyama, selected as an All-Star reserve on Thursday, missed his sixth game of the season due to the undisclosed illness.
Adebayo shot 13-for-21 from the field and grabbed nine defensive rebounds as the Heat won for the third time in four games. The Spurs will play their next home game on March 2, as they embark on their annual road trip during a livestock show and rodeo event at the Frost Bank Center.

The start of the game was delayed 45 minutes due to a medical emergency involving a courtside spectator.

Here is the entire trade and how it breaks down:
The Sacramento Kings are finalizing a deal to send All-Star guard De'Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs, who are led by rising star Victor Wembanyama, as part of a multi-team NBA trade, ESPN reported.
The deal will see Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine join the Kings, per ESPN's reporting on Sunday.
The Kings had reportedly opened trade talks for Fox last week after it became clear the 27-year-old, who has one more year on his contract, was not committed to staying long-term in Sacramento.
The Spurs emerged as a preferred destination, and the move will unite Fox with the French phenom Wembanyama, who is averaging an impressive 24.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 4.0 blocks per game.
The Spurs have added veteran pieces to the young core led by Wembanyama this season, and the addition of Fox could enhance their late-season push as well as provide a building block for the next several years.
Fox is in his eighth NBA season, all with the Kings. He slogged through five losing seasons before the team reached the playoffs in 2022-23, ending the league's longest postseason drought after 16 years.
However, the Kings failed to make it out of the play-in last season, and after a slow start this year, coach Mike Brown was fired in December. This season, Fox is averaging a team-high 25.0 points per game and is second on the team in assists and third in rebounds.
In addition to receiving LaVine from the Bulls, the Kings will get 20-year-old French prospect Sidy Cissoko from the Spurs. The deal will also send Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins and Tre Jones to the Bulls, and Jordan McLaughlin to the Spurs, according to The Athletic.
LaVine, a two-time All-Star, is enjoying a productive season, averaging 24.0 points per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the field. Cissoko, the 44th overall pick in the 2023 draft, has appeared in just 29 NBA games so far.

In his San Antonio debut, newly acquired point guard De'Aaron Fox scored 24 points and dished out 13 assists, helping the Spurs to a narrow 126-125 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama also contributed 24 points, including a clutch free throw in the final seconds to break a tie.
Wembanyama intentionally missed his second free throw, denying the Hawks a chance at a last-second inbounds play. Trae Young's 3-pointer at the buzzer fell short, sealing the win for the Spurs.
The game featured several standout individual performances. Wembanyama added 12 rebounds to his scoring output, while Young led the Hawks with 32 points and 12 assists. Atlanta's Onyeka Okongwu had a career-high 30 points.
The Spurs led by as many as 20 points in the second half, but had to withstand a furious Hawks comeback attempt late in the game. De'Andre Hunter's 3-pointer pulled Atlanta within 123-121 in the final minutes, before Young tied the game at 123 and 125. However, Wembanyama's late free throw proved to be the difference.
Other notable performances included Devin Vassell's 20 points and four steals for the Spurs, and a career-high five steals from Julian Champagnie. The Spurs set a season-high with 72 points in the first half.
Spurs are now 22-26.
With 1.4 seconds left, Miles Bridges knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner off a wraparound feed from LaMelo Ball, lifting the Charlotte Hornets to a 117-116 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night and snapping a six-game skid.
De'Aaron Fox appeared to respond with a game-winning 3 at the buzzer, but officials reviewed the play and ruled that he did not get the shot off in time.
Bridges finished with 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting, while Ball recorded 24 points and 10 assists for the Hornets, who welcomed him back after a five-game absence due to an ankle injury. Nick Smith Jr. added 19 points for Charlotte, continuing his recent scoring surge, and Moussa Diabate dominated the offensive glass with 15 rebounds after taking over as the starting center.
Rookie Stephon Castle led the Spurs with a career-high 33 points. Fox, who tied the game with less than a minute to play and then gave the Spurs the lead with a 20-footer in the final seconds, finished with 22 points. Victor Wembanyama contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The Spurs struggled on the glass, getting outrebounded 53-38 by the Hornets. Charlotte was a little short-handed as it awaits the arrival of several players acquired at the trade deadline, including Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish and Jusuf Nurkic.
The key moment came when Ball made a smart decision to drive and forced the Spurs to match-up defensively, once Fox committed to stopping Ball, Castle rotated late and Ball was able to find Bridges for the game-winning 3-pointer in the closing seconds. Charlotte also dominated the offensive glass, outscoring the Spurs 27-9 in second-chance points.
Spurs are now 22-27

Victor Wembanyama delivered a standout performance, scoring 31 points and grabbing 15 rebounds to help the San Antonio Spurs hold off the Washington Wizards 131-121 on Monday night.
Wembanyama, who had erupted for a career-high 50 points against the Wizards in November, started strong again, making his first four 3-point attempts within the first eight minutes. Though he couldn't maintain that blistering scoring pace, the Spurs' young star remained a dominant force against a Washington team missing rookie 7-footer Alex Sarr due to a sprained left ankle.
De'Aaron Fox provided crucial support, contributing 30 points for the Spurs, while veteran Chris Paul dished out 10 assists. Rookie Stephon Castle added 16 points off the bench.
For the Wizards, Tristan Vukcevic led the way with 18 points, but the team struggled from beyond the arc, going just 14-of-47 from 3-point range.
The Spurs jumped out to a 28-10 lead after a 22-0 run in the first quarter, but the Wizards rallied to trail by only three at halftime. In the end, Wembanyama and the Spurs were able to hold on for the important road victory against the league-worst Wizards.
Key moment: Wembanyama's nice backdoor pass to Fox, who cut along the baseline for a layup that gave the Spurs a 122-115 lead with 3:13 remaining, helped San Antonio seal the win.
Key stat: Fox was dominant at the free-throw line, going 15-of-18.
