Victor Wembanyama put up an impressive stat line, recording 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 blocks to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 96-87 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Jeremy Sochan also contributed 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs.

The Spurs overcame a rough shooting first half, making just 27.5% of their field goals, by catching fire in the second half, hitting 21 of 37 shots (56.7%). Julian Champagnie scored 18 points, and Keldon Johnson added 15 points and 6 rebounds to help the Spurs snap a two-game skid.

For the Nets, Keon Johnson poured in a game-high 25 points, while Shake Milton recorded 16 points and 12 assists. However, the Nets struggled offensively, shooting just 38.9% from the field and scoring a season-low 87 points, playing without leading scorer Cam Johnson and assist leader Ben Simmons.

The key moment came in the third quarter, when Wembanyama erupted for 11 points, including three 3-pointers, during a 22-9 Spurs run that turned a two-point deficit into a 69-58 lead. Wembanyama continued his impressive defensive streak, recording at least four blocks for the fifth straight game and recording at least one 3-pointer and one block in 22 consecutive games.
