NBA Game Recap Video Link for Spurs Win at Kings 127-125

Victor Wembanyama recorded his first triple-double of the season, posting 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 127-125 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. The win marked the Spurs' fifth in six games.

Devin Vassell added 21 points off the bench for San Antonio, while Chris Paul finished with 13 points.

DeMar DeRozan paced the Kings with 28 points, as Sacramento built a 17-point lead in the first quarter and held a 65-58 advantage at halftime.

The Spurs rallied in the third quarter, using a 19-7 run to take the lead. However, the Kings responded and headed into the fourth quarter up 97-92.

Wembanyama took over in the final period, draining five 3-pointers and scoring 13 of his points. With the Spurs clinging to a two-point lead, Chris Paul hit a crucial 3-pointer with 20 seconds remaining to give San Antonio some breathing room.

Keldon Johnson split a pair of free throws, but grabbed the offensive rebound to help the Spurs seal the win. Paul then sank two more free throws, and Domantas Sabonis hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the final 127-125 margin.

The Spurs' perimeter shooting was key, as they set a franchise record by connecting on 23 of 46 attempts from beyond the arc. However, the Kings struggled, losing their sixth game in seven outings to fall three games under .500 on the season.

A key moment came when Wembanyama grabbed an offensive rebound that led to a 3-pointer by Vassell, giving the Spurs a 121-115 lead late in the game. The Spurs' defense also tightened up after a porous first quarter, in which the Kings scored a season-high 42 points while shooting over 70% from the floor.
