NBA Game Recap Game 11 Spurs v Kings 116-96 W

Victor Wembanyama's dominant performance, with 34 points and 14 rebounds, along with Chris Paul's double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, led the San Antonio Spurs to a convincing 116-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

De'Aron Fox scored 24 points for the Kings, while Domantas Sabonis recorded a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, and DeMar DeRozan added 21 points. However, the Kings' defensive pressure faded in the second half, as they forced only four turnovers compared to 12 in the first half.

The Spurs snapped a four-game skid against the Kings, and Harrison Barnes, who was traded to San Antonio in the offseason, had 10 points in his first game against his former team.

Julian Champagnie had a standout game for the Spurs, hitting 3 of 8 3-pointers and setting the franchise record for the most 3-pointers in the first 100 games, surpassing the previous mark set by Gary Neal.

The key moment came in the third quarter, when Devin Vassell hit consecutive 3-pointers, including one where he was fouled, to put the Spurs up 82-67 with 2:32 remaining in the period. The Spurs' 22 3-pointers in the game were a season-high, surpassing their previous best of 16 against the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

Here is the Game Recap for Game 12:
Game Recap Game 12 Spurs v Wizards139-130 W

Victor Wembanyama delivered a career-high performance, pouring in 50 points as the San Antonio Spurs cruised to a 139-130 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. The 20-year-old phenom was lights out from beyond the arc, sinking 8 of his 16 three-point attempts to set a new personal best.

Despite Jordan Poole's 42-point effort for the Wizards, who extended their losing streak to six games, Wembanyama led the Spurs to their second straight win. At just 20 years and 314 days old, the French sensation became the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to score 50 points, trailing only Brandon Jennings, LeBron James, and Devin Booker.

Wembanyama's previous career high was 49 points, set in an overtime victory over the New York Knicks. He has now made at least six three-pointers in three consecutive games. Spurs teammate Devin Vassell also contributed 17 points in his third game back from offseason foot surgery.

In the game, Wizards center Alexandre Sarr made his presence felt, blocking one of Wembanyama's shots in the second quarter and even dunking on the Spurs phenom in the third. Sarr finished with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block in 25 minutes of action.

Wembanyama's historic performance places him in elite company, as he becomes the eighth player in Spurs franchise history to score 50 points in a game. The team's all-time scoring record is held by David Robinson, who poured in 71 points against the Los Angeles Clippers in 1994.

The key moment came late in the fourth quarter, as Wembanyama was stuck on 48 points. He then knocked down an 18-foot jumper to reach the 50-point milestone, giving the Spurs a comfortable 115-98 lead with 8:49 remaining.

Wembanyama also made NBA history, becoming the first player to record at least 20 three-pointers and 25 blocks over a six-game span.
