Johnson DNP

Defense is so important. When you give up 37 points in the 1st and 41 in the 4th, you better be scoring more than that. The Spurs did not. Some efficient play from the team but too many turnovers and only 1 real threat in Devin Vassell since Keldon Johnson missed the game with a sprained ankle and that's all she wrote.

Only 2 players showed up to play. Jakob Poeltl and Doug McDermott. The rest of the team was so off. So many games played this week and the road trip is showing the team lacks serious depth with all the injuries.

Spurs .385 92.500

Clippers Starters
Leonard .545 12.000
Morris .340 8.500

Paul George, Reggie Jackson, Norman Powell, and John Wall were like the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse. Apocalypse (Kawhi Leonard) played and didn't do that much in limited minutes except shoot a high percentage in limited minutes.

Game 18 Spurs lose to Lakers 92-113 AD got little opposition in the post.

Bryant .935 21.500 Bryant and Westbrook at previous points in their careers were bonafide starters and now, Darvin Ham has them coming off the bench. Against the short-handed Spurs, they looked impressive but will this experiment continue to work in the future against better talent?
Westbrook .727 16.000
Schroder .652 15.000
Nunn .476 10.000

Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves and Russell Westbrook with Thomas Bryant doing all the damage. No Poeltl meant that Dieng started and well...that's a recipe for trouble. To Gorgui's credit, he had the best Points Created Per Minute for the Spurs while Devin Vassell had the best Per Game score. To show you how lopsided it was, Devin and Gorgui combined for 31.500 Points Created Per Game Score. AD by himself got 44.500
