Spurs Starters

Sochan .630 14.500 He adds a post runout option the Spurs haven't had in awhile. I can't think off the top of my head, a big who runs upcourt quicker since say...young DRob?!?!? His defensive positioning shows so much potential. Despite his offensive shortcomings, I still am happy that the Spurs went this direction.

Johnson .324 11.000

Poeltl .823 25.500 Had to face Twin Towers. He played well enough on both sides. Take a look at the PC Per Game Score, Most Impactful Spur.

Jones .567 17.000

Vassell .727 24.000 Low Usage rate but he gave the Spurs so much more than just playing good D and making 3s. He finished 2nd in assists with 7 behind Tre's 8 and 2nd in rebounds behind Jakob's 14. Doing it all. Could it be the hairstyle change?

Roby .538 7.000

Collins .765 13.000 Spurs getting production from their Post Players.

McDermott -0.088 -1.500

Bates Diop 0.000 0.000

Richardson .618 10.500 When he's on, he's efficient. He provides needed production.
Langford 0.000 0.000

Primo .280 7.000 He's getting time, but still needs to be more efficient. Too many turnovers for now.

I am thinking that the Tank For Wemby People are somewhat disappointed(enraged). I have not said but many have noticed some ball-movement by these young Spurs that seemed somewhat reminiscent of THE BEAUTIFUL GAME* Hat tip to my friend Colin Stanton who made that video and the sequel happen. There is a link to his video below.

As it stands, Pop seems willing to run his entire team out there and play meaningful minutes in small pockets to keep his players as fresh as possible. Each player has a defined role and isn't expected to do more that that role. Outside of winning the title, the thing about that TBG era were these 2 statisitics. 1-Not 1 player from that team averaged more than 19 Points Per Game, and 2-Not 1 player from that team averaged more than 30 Minutes per game. Not one.

Minnesota has a real early chance to get revenge on Wednesday, let's see how it all pans out. I expect a better team effort from them and hope that these young Spurs don't get too complacent with their great start to this season.

Rating Scale for PC Effectiveness or Productivity Per Minute

Above .650 - Superstar category. Typically the Top 30 players reach this level of performance

for the entire season.

.550-.649 -All-Stars are in this range, or either just below or above it.

.450-.549 - Good players who are sometimes outstanding fall into this category.

.350-.449 -Regulars. Solid players who are either starters or among a team's first seven or

eight regulars.

.250-.349 -Poor. Players here are mostly rookies, or vets whose skills are declining. Could be

solid at position defense. That EFFORT does not show up on a boxscore.

Below .249 - Awful. Players in this category are living life on the edge. Most are soon traded

or released or sent to the G-League.

Ratings Scale for PC per Game Average

Frontline players typically provide a PC Game score above 18+.

All-Star players typically provide a PC Game score above 21+.

Superstar players typically provide a PC Game score above 25+.
